A few ritchie bros auctions recently had some combines sell for less than half of what dealers were listing. Im tempted to buy and resell these units. I could still make 100k on one and be under dealer price.

Large supply of grain, low demand, recessed grain prices... only thing still half decent is cattle. Add it up over the cost of inputs and high interests, not many are looking to buy.

Cool old combine, but a reason they weren’t popular. Ih, jd, cockshutt, gleaner literally everyone else had a better combine. Still cool though

Very interesting Greg! Local Manitoba Dealerships are advertised a 2023 X9 1100 with 200-300 threshing hours and they are still advertising and getting just over the $1,000,000 the million dollar mark. And that’s without any header. Maybe it’s just this rich area, not sure?

I think the reason people saying it’s tanking is everything is bigger numbers Ex. 75% of $500,000 is $ $375000 equals $125000 drop. But 10 years ago $300,000 @75% is $225,000 or $75000 difference Big gap in differences

its amassing what 600ths short calls in commodities can cause billions of losses for farmers and ag dealers,let the fun begain.

we have not seen nothing yet, just wait till DEC JAN. If you have the cash will be some great deals in a few months.

Been in and out of this sized tractor. John Deeres...... no room for a tall person with large feet. Im your 6 foot 7 inches tall.......best find a Deutz Tractor. They have space / room and are comfortable !

Thought that 1456 might bring more than $40k for the great condition it was in.

You could buy a whole farm, in my day for the price of a combine.

8850's were extremely heavy and had low ground clearane, probably the last tractor you want to bury.

Hell at 60 grand you can't hardly get a 60 horse yanmar ..that 986 is at least 10 times the tractor

I have no words with how this farm family put a tremendous mark in the world of farming, farm equipment collecting, and just being such a great family. What a collection, I would give anything to be able to attend in person, but being far away in Tennessee, and with zero room to bring any of these amazing tractors home, I better stay put!!! Diana is so amazing, such a beautiful lady and got to be the best farm girl I ever met, and I wish I could have attended one of her history classes in college, she is just awesome!!! Has to be the best video I ever saw on You Tube
